Swinburne has a wide range of student systems, applications and software you can use to help with your studies including the Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Student systems are the web tools you use for many of your interactions with Swinburne.
From timetables, results, assignment submission portals and lecture recordings, these are the student systems you'll use most often. Canvas is our learning management system, an online tool for accessing study materials, submitting assignments and staying informed about your units.
Use your SIMS username and password to sign in and access course materials. At Swinburne, we use Microsoft Office to manage student emails. Sign in from the Current Students page to log in to Student One and your student email all at the same time.
You can use Canvas to find your learning materials. You'll need your student ID and a password to sign in to Student One. Lecture recordings, learning resources and interactive tools. Echo ALP Active Learning Platform is a tool in your Blackboard or Canvas LMS unit that gives you access to lecture recordings, learning resources, interactive activities and allows you to take part in live interactive quizzes in class.
Cloudstor is a large file transfer service available to Swinburne staff and students to share files up to GB in size. We can help you connect to the free campus-wide Wi-Fi network, access student email and change passwords. We can also help with any other technical issues through our Techbar service.
