Solution 1 Scenario: New Profile or start from scratch delete old user profile. Before starting Outlook to add any accounts, add the following registry entries:.

Solution 2 Scenario: Existing User Profile too many reasons not to delete existing user profile. I managed to save more time by not recreating the users profile as I had three others experiencing this issue with large profile data by keeping the current users environment intact by doing this:.

Add the following registry entry on current device and profile:. Then on the same device, create a new fresh new user profile by logging in with a new user account that has never logged in to that device before and add the following registry entry:. Then add the email accounts as usual. Go back to your existing profile and don't log out of the new profile and sign in as a different user and sign in as the existing user.

Next time you open Outlook it should actually show the login dialog and try to connect. See Microsoft article. You might need to try to run an office repair as this issue is caused when the password across the Office suite is not sync'd. Alternatively you may try creating a new profile for Outlook as well.

This can be achieved by typing mail 32 in the search box of the start menu. Click on New and then create a new profile. I found removing the MS account would work for this sometimes but I also found another aspect that helps. Manually removing the product key registered on the PC has fixed this for me after signing out from the O account. This varies based on version and 32 or 64 bit version of Office installed.

I had the same problem. After going through all of the suggestions on many of these forum sites, I was able to remedy the problem.

Step 2: Right-Click on "Office " in my case and select "Change" in the drop-down list. Step 3: Click the bullet for "Quick Repair". I found completely uninstalling, removing credentials etc the whole lot from the PC. Then removing the users license from the admin portal for an hour before re-applying and reinstalling, did the trick for me.

I had to delete my email password in the account on the computer and reinstate a new APP password. This seems to have solved the issue. I will let you know if it changes. OK, it happened again. I did what you suggested. I have now opened a new word doc and it seems OK.
